The usual sneeketh peeketh around the studio. The Pocket Doll G07 head mold ended up stretching slightly in the electro mold bath, meaning that the ratio looks odd. We did some faceups of Timeless and Genesis - they do look cute but not as miniature versions of the current 1/3 scale girls.
Mother nature plays a big part in creating a slush cast mold that uses electrical conduction processes. So we had to start from scratch and proceed to make another mold - this time guestimating how much the ratio will change while the head is being electroplated. If the mold were for a body part, a slight ratio change would not be so noticeable. But we are talking about the face - slight changes are incredibly glaring.
The smaller stuff gets, the more time and effort is needed for development and production as details are greatly amplified.
