If you have been to Japan, you may already know that Japan is full of vending machines - and they are pretty reliable too. The ones I used in London were there for only one purpose - to take your money and not give anything in return!
But did you know that Japan also has vending machines for fresh vegetables too? They are usually found in rural areas where getting veggies involves traveling further distances.
Buying from these machines helps the farmers as you buy directly from them instead of going through a middle wo/man.
The life of a farmer is challenging. Many of them have to rent land to grow crops. But the rent they pay may not necessarily guarantee a good harvest as they rely on the climate which is becoming more and more post-apocalytic these days.
Do they have veggie vending machines on your neck of the woods too?
