About to tuck into some traditional Japanese noms with Gaia. When you visit Japan, before eating try to get into the habit of saying “itadakimasu“ which is said just before you nom. Literally it means that you shall “receive something” but in the case of food it’s also a way of being grateful to be able to have food on your plate. Is there anything said in your language before eating?
