The public bath at the ryokan that we stayed at this weekend called Hamanoyu in Izu. Here is where you wash yourself before you get into the hot springs. Lucky I remembered to wrap a towel before taking this photo - as a rule of thumb - never take photos of anything when in your birthday suit - not even of a #smartdoll as we made their eyes especially reflective.
