So from today, every single Smart Doll that we ship will go through the new torque tests and must meet certain criteria when we ship. For example, the thigh frame joint must hold its position when 1KG is hung from the frame. If your joints have become loose (or tight due to grease drying up) check out the welcome guide on the #smartdoll site to adjust the torque.
Before we used to adjust the torque based on a “not too loose or tight” understanding but what may deem tight to one member of staff may be different to another. With the new standards and tests in place we can ensure a more unified experience for owners.
