I’ve been consulting for the Japanese government for many years now and always make a point of raising the issue in each Cabinet meeting I attend about non uni grads not being able to get working visas - they finally announced today that it’s on the priority agenda to lower the hurdle for foreigners to stay in Japan for longer. Details and implementation date not decided yet though.
University grads should not be the only ones entitled to stay here. All talented folks no matter their background deserve a chance. #notweet
