I need to do a better job of setting expectations regarding our design philosophy.
Today I did bad and disappointed a new customer because they had expectations that our weathered boots should have been evenly distressed across the left and right. In this customers case one boot has scratches while the other had none.
I have written this post to set expectations and will link to it from the product detail page so that other potential customers can avoid disappointment. All our leather boots (including the Takashin Long Boots out this weekend) can be weathered to ones taste just by scrunching or scratching them - this is explained in the post.
