I usually get both the print and e-book when picking up a good read. Main reason is that I don’t want to have to lug around a ton of books when traveling and sometimes depending where you are reading, it can be more convenient to read the e-book version. This Guns, Germs and Steel book is big and heavy so not that great for reading lying down in bed - yep it’s fallen on to my face a few time in the past. With a e-book I can also highlight words I don’t know and quickly do a dictionary search and take notes for blog posts.
What I have not figured out however is a workflow to keep track of bookmark progress of the same book in both e-book and print format. If I read the print version and pick up from the e-book version - page numbers are not the same so I need to hunt from where I left off. Do you have any smart ninja workflows for this?
