Starting with one of the first anime titles I started to watch when first learning Japanese 15-ish years ago - Kimagure Orange Road.
Just watched the OP for Orange Road below which brought back a flood of nostalgic memories. Could only speak a handful of Japanese words at the time - you know useful stuff like "this is an umbrella." How long have you been watching anime for?
