Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) is the Middle East's largest convention for all things comics, Sci-fi, Marvel, DC, games, anime, manga and more.
MEFCC has been around for 3 years now and continues to grow with attendances reaching 35,000 this year.

I was invited to MEFCC for the previous 2 years but couldn't make it but am so glad that I managed the trip this year because the Middle East is just awesome! I was especially surprised at how many Culture Japan and Mirai-chan fans there we out there ^o^
They had a plethora of guests attend the event including industry guests like the boss of Gainax and think that there will be more attendance by Japanese industry folks next year.
Due to media and some movies, some folks get the impression that the Middle East could be a dangerous place to be - its nothing of the sort.
