Japanese Government
The Japanese government kicked off its Cool Japan campaign with the Cool Japan Tokyo Conference which was held on the 2nd November.
The conference took place in a huge dome erected in the grounds of Meiji Jingu where the Tokyo Designers Week was taking place. Was an honor to be invited by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) to speak alongside a load of high profile speakers which included Kenichirou Mogi, Yasushi Akimoto, Shoji Kogami, Tomoyuki Sugiyama, Kashiwa Sato and more - me was in doubt whether a small fish like me deserved to be up there or not ^^;
While everybody in the audience was familiar with anime and manga, not all were familiar with figures so I thought I'd bring along Good Smile Company to display their cool figures - mirai-chan figma kinda looked out of place amoung all the Black Rock Shooter girls though ^^; Mirai-chan needs some weapons.
