Out n about in one of the major electronic stores Bic Camera. Walking through the TV section and noticed how cheap TV's have become. Back in the good old days when we were a wee bit more wealthy, we picked up a 37 inch plasma display for about 420000 yen which was discounted from 800000 yen ToT
And then today I see this 40 inch Sharp display for 76400 yen. Then looked up the price of the same model online and found it for 70000 yen @.@ This LC-40E7 not exactly an old model either and came out in April of this year.
In July 2011, Japan will switch to digital broadcasts - anybody watching on an analog TV (like us) currently gets to enjoy black borders around the edges of current broadcasts with occasional flashing text saying "please upgrade your TV!"
What sort of TV are you using to enjoy broadcasts and gaming? Was your TV cheap or cost a few limbs/dolphin?
