Ikkyuu-sensei has been working very closely with us for the past couple of years, bringing us the most cutesome chibi illustrations of Mirai and her comrades.
Ikkyuu-sensei will be joining us at Culture Japan Con and showing all comrades how to draw in his style and share his ninja secrets at his workshop stage segment. It will also be his first time appearing at an international anime event.
His illustrations are used in our collaborations with companies from all over the world, below is just a peek at some of the products produced and collaborations made using his work.
2 of the face plates of Nendoroid Mirai Suenaga and several props were also based on Ikkyuu's illustration style - he was also involved directly in producing the final sculpt. The decals for the Nendoroid Itasha also featured his artwork, and there was even a full deck of mini Moekana cards in the set ^^
As well as a collaboration with Akibatan, a popular Thai portal.
Ikkyuu also managed branding for Anime Expo 2013, where he illustrated all of their mascot characters.
Ikkyuu also played a major role in the branding for Comic Fiesta 2012, where he also illustrated all of their mascot characters.
He's also worked on a worldwide petition to help support Tokyo in becoming selected as the host city of the Olympics in 2020. The selection will occur this September.
As published in the Stage Schedule, Ikkyuu-sensei's workshop will be on Day 2 from 11:00 - 12:00, and will be signing on Day 2 from 13:15 - 15:15. Tis on a first come first serve basis though ><
