Photos taken this time last week at CJ Night Shanghai. Didn't think many would come along due to the one day notice but was happy to see that so many made it - this snap with some of the comrades who stayed until the end.
As always, it was great to be able to meet folks from so many different backgrounds and provide a venue for all to make new comrades - thanks to everybody who came!
CJ Night Shanghai
The day started with a visit and interviews at Halozone which is a plaza filled with anime retail stores and cafe's. They had a load of figures - most legit but some bootleg. One of the store owners told me one of the reasons why these bootlegs exist was because many figures don't get to retail stores in China through official routes - same reason why fansubbed anime exists.
Halozone probably had everything that an otaku needs from figures, dolls and other anime goodies.

After interviews at the maid cafe, headed off to NextAge to meet the rest of the readers who brought their lovely daughters along. Had a great time and look forward to going back soon.
