Photos taken earlier this year when I was back in good ol Blighty to speak and meet with comrades at the University of London. Hadn't been back for 5 years and it was great to om nom nom on dishes like the traditional English brekkie.
One of the things I love about London is the variety of international dishes. Especially love the Chinese food - the taste of Chinese food in Tokyo has been localized a lot and does not seem to taste as good as it does back in the UK. My fave dish however is Saveloy and Chips.
5 years was a long time to be away from the UK and seeing snacks like Picnic and drinks like Lucozade brought back a load of memories - we don't have em over here in Japan.
Many folks around me seem to complain about the taste of food in the UK - I personally love it ^^; For those of you who have been to (or live in) the UK, what do you think of the taste of food in general?
