April Fool Summary

An update on what was and was not an April Fool shenanigan.
- Mirai Suenaga Merchandise (Not April Fool)
This actually started out as an April Fool but the quality of the samples turned out soooo good that Digicraft and I have decided to manufacture and sell them. The oppai mousepad needs some more work though but the dakimakura and bed sheet are pretty much ready to go.
Thanks to Azami sensei for coming up with such a gorgeous work of art in such a short time - I look at the birthday suit version quite often ^^;
Also thanks to Hobby Stock and Broccoli for playing along too.
Having a meeting with Digicraft to go over details regarding production. Will make sure they are easy to get hold of in your region and do my best to lower the retail price.
- Figma Mirai (Not April Fool)
This also started out as an April Fool shenanigan and could not have been made possible without the 3D Max data from Ionized. The Mirai figma will proceed to be sanded down, figma jointed, cloned and painted. Once this is done we will have the Decoration Master (Decomas). Not all of the data will be used from Ionized.
Before she goes to production however, I need to secure 20,000 orders! Realistically speaking, I dont think I'll be able to sell 20,000 through my readership right now - not until the Suenaga anime or manga gets realized first. Its going to be a big year for the Suenaga sisters in 2009!
-Fakku.net Acquisition (April Fool)
Jacob at Fakku.net and I have been Internet comrades for a while now. He understands Internet communities well and his visions certainly do match the company culture at Mirai.inc. While I'm not going to buyout fakku, Jacob and I will be working more closely on (not just ecchi) related web strategies in the near future.
-Stormtrooper Oppai Mousepad (April Fool)
Fredrin at Mega Tokyo and I have also been Internet comrades for a while now and was honored to have such an established artist spend time with me on this years April Fool shenanigans. Looks like there has been quite some demand for this item though ^^;
April Fools comes but once a year and folks who put together elaborate shenanigans will understand just how much traffic it generates. All four April Fools generated gazillions of incremental traffic from all over the world for all parties involved. My Japanese readership went up by quite a bit too ^o^
Oh, and as for the photo - Mirai dakimakura at my wife's desk - thats where she puts Mirai when she's not around ^^; (Not April Fool)
And a quick update on the giveaway for your room. Have already picked out 23 rooms (out of the 89) but need to now choose 1 winner and 10 runnerups - going to be very tough desu. Will announce very very soon.
