Starting off this week with a few more peeks at the CM filming that went on yesterday morning. While the cameras and lighting are being set up, I take a few pics of Aoi-chan who we took along with us.

Heard a lot about the new Bio Hazard 5 but never really got into the series because bullets ran out too quickly leaving you to shoot 50 zombies moving in on all directions with a shotgun that fires 1 round every 5 seconds.

At Book Off looking for some secondhand Manga. Nearly impossible looking for stuff in this place - books seem to be arranged in a strange order.

Didnt find what I was looking for at in Book Off so went to the firsthand book store - didn't have it either. Was looking on reading up on K-On! before the anime started next month.

CGM Night Episode 3 was just awesome! About 200 bloggers, v-bloggers and Industry folk attended the event held in Harajuku. Many companies gave out goodies including Focal Computing and Kotobukiya.

Got a bit cramped this time round as we had to change venue due to the unexpected popularity of the event. Folks from Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Broccoli, Appliya, Nitro Plus also came and was honored to have the official launch of the Poken Japanese service announced at CGM Night.

Some extreme retro games spotted being thrown out during plastic recycle day. Silpheed! Anybody remember this? The one I owned was the Sega Mega CD version below. My fave retro game? Axelay for the Super Famicom always springs to mind. Whats your fave retro game - post a youtube link too!
At Ikea picking up some stuff for the bedroom. Love how they designed the floors to make you walk through everything before being able to get out at the other end.
Where would we be without Ikea eh? Before Ikea came to Japan, we had to pay ridiculous prices for stuff at places like Tokyu Hands.
Always seem to be picking up these electric taps every time I go.
Incredibly popular with many Japanese folks and extremely packed on a weekend - recommend to go after work where its quite empty.

Got a new pair of braces (1155 yen))) for the stormtrooper armor - the first pair was completely busted and would have probably left me in an embarrassing situation if I attempted another trooping session. The braces hold the torso armor up.
I will be in armor next Wednesday and Friday for two events. One is a networking event and the other is a presentation which I will announce later.

One of my Twitter followers suggested to eat Pineapple for my horrid hay fever. Not sure if its working ^^; Currently eat a ton of yogurt which seems to help every year. Please do share your anti hay fever strategy.

Coverage seems to be quite good and covers pretty much all of Tokyo as shown in this map. Many comrades also recommend it too and say that the speed is decent and stable but gets bad when one goes out to the sticks. I'll probably be picking up one soon.

Ramen with Egg. Many Ramen places give you the option of customizing your Ramen. For example this place lets you choose thin or thick noodles and spicy or mild flavoring.
Another anime makes to it Pachinko - the name on the tip of my tongue. Have not tried pachinko for about 20 years - must make a point of checking it out before the next A Week in Tokyo.
