This is Mirai Suenaga (末永みらい) - the mascot character for dannychoo.com.
I've always wanted to have a mascot character for this site since the dawn of time.
I met
Azamiyuko sensei through some work at Microsoft and fell in love with her artwork at first sight!
Many of the other Akiba-kei Japanese blogs have more of a Moe character but I wanted to have a character in her late teens/early twenties who looks like she just stepped out of a Bishojo game.
I came up with her body proportions, hair length and color, eyes collar design, logo and hair clips while Azamiyuko sensei came up with the rest ^^;
As announced on 2007/04/01, Mirai is to star in her on anime called "Mirai no Mirai" and you can read more about this exciting news
in this post.
