GN are the first initials of G.N. Lewis, who is known for discovering covalent bonding (Lewis dot diagram anyone?) Dynames is a slight shift from the Greek word dynamis, which means energy or power. Or it may be from a more recent title, believe whichever one you want XD ( View formatted comment » )

I've been to Germany, France, Netherlands, Luxembrough (sp?), US, Canada, and China. I probably went to more places in Europe but I can't remember anymore at the moment. I like to take long walks outside when I'm stressed, or when I have nothing else to do. My walks last at least 30 mins, that's not assuming that I'm running an errand and requires less time. Longest was an hour, just walking and listening to music with no other purpose. ( View formatted comment » )

I broke my limit on spending this year, but not because of new year specifically. As for actual shopping. All I bought was a large pack of Pocky for 3 bucks. ( View formatted comment » )

Actually, chemicals are only added if they want to alter it's properties. The hard plastic ones are more or less unaltered. ( View formatted comment » )

"Our bodies are contaminated with poisonous chemicals released during the PVC lifecycle, such as mercury, dioxins, and phthalates" But the thing is, PVC is purely composed of carbon, hydrogen and chlorine...My grade 12 chemistery teacher even brought PVC pipes to class to show us. My local model store (that is to say, when I'm at home) has Tamiya and Mr.Colour. Home Depot is the only place I know that sells acetone and lacquer thinners. Isopropanol can be obtained from a local pharmacy ( View formatted comment » )

Paint themselves aren't THAT expensive but you need to stock up. It might be a bit pricy starting up because you need a whole bunch of paint, brushes and thinner, but after that you just have to restock from time to time when something runs low. A piece of advice, look for alternatives for thinner as opposed to brand name paint thinners. They're basicly the same thing (isopropanol for acrylics, acetone/lacquer thinner for lacquers) ( View formatted comment » )
