Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, I've found that the way to keep ninjas away from your lawn is to plant extra thick shrubbery. ( View formatted comment » )

Even a month of traveling time would be worth it, if we can send materials up to space cheaply with a space elevator. Right now, it's just too costly to send anything bulky up to space via a space shuttle. Think of it as huge but slow ocean tankers that ship essential goods around the world. I strongly condemn to the fullest extent possible any threat made against Minorin. It's a good thing her manager took the threat seriously and went to the police. Why can't attention seeking idiots stab themselves instead and save everyone the trouble? ( View formatted comment » )

I have no idea what was going on in the commercial, so I'll just give it a "ha... ha." ( View formatted comment » )

Well, why not? You can always cancel your online preorder in case you change your mind. Most online store will allow you to do that without charging you for it, as long as the figure has yet to be released. Online preorders disappear fast for popular figures. ( View formatted comment » )

I placed a pre-order for Kotobukiya Kureha and Kid Nemo never sent it. No word whether new stock would come in or what. So I was screwed; the figure was sold out everywhere. I swore never to shop there ever again. Good thing I have alternative suppliers, ones who are much more reliable and do not screw me over. ( View formatted comment » )

Yeap, I've preordered Pixie Hiyori. When I saw her in the WonFes pictures, I knew I had to get her. ( View formatted comment » )

There's always Aion: The Tower of Eternity from NCSoft, which has already gone through a few stages of closed beta in Korea. If I remember, the English version appeared at PAX 2008 where they accepted beta sign-ups. www.aiononline.com ( View formatted comment » )

Maybe, just maybe, his family had a good reason or many good reasons for ditching him. I don't buy that "families must stick together!" rubbish. If your wife and kids ditch you, maybe you should start reflecting deeply on what you had done or had not done. It looks like a crammed place to live in, but aside from that, he looks fine. People in many parts of the world live in much worse conditions than this. This is why kids should take their studies seriously. Or end up in some dead-end trap of minimal wage. Wor... I read about this game a month or so ago. It's been in development for about 2 years and it's about 50% or so completed. Rather than sit around and wait another 2 years for it to be released, I'd rather go do something else. ( View formatted comment » )

I read about thieves who were dumb enough to steal some GPS units. Those lead the police right to their doorstep. ( View formatted comment » )

"Oh, we have another witness. I guess I was right to dig an extra hole in the garden." Wait a moment for it to sink in and watch her run screaming out of the house. Escape in the resulting confusion. ( View formatted comment » )

Tsundere seems to be one of those things that look better in anime than real life. It's like dating Akira Kogami (Lucky Star). Only a jellyfish as spineless as Shiraishi can take her constant abuse. ( View formatted comment » )

Since some people don't consider it stealing, I'd like to live next to them and plug my refrigerator, washing machine, 3 PCs and the central air-conditioner unit into their electricity sockets. Oh, and divert one of their water pipes to my house as well. It's nice to know there are such generous people around. ( View formatted comment » )

Expel him, accident or not, then call in the police. This sends a clear message that there is zero tolerance for mucking around or pointing dangerous objects at other people. Even if he just point a loaded bow at his classmate as a jest, I would expel him immediately. I don't see how such behavior can be cordoned. When do you start expelling him? When he goes on a school shooting spree? ( View formatted comment » )

Nozomi doesn't look natural to me. Any more plastic and she'll be a 1/1 PVC figure. Oh, her neck looks so long she resembles a giraffe. ( View formatted comment » )

Nendoroids are beginning to all look the same to me. Excluding the extra hands and extra heads, I think it's the same pose, figure shape and smiley expression. I look at Yoko and I'm already thinking it looks more or less just like my Nao. Nendoroids are still cute though. ( View formatted comment » )

I chuck the figure boxes away. Sure, they look nice, but what am I to do with them? I could admire the care and attention to detail taken to design that .. box. Or I can simply just admire my figures instead and free up more space. ( View formatted comment » )
