After 9-ish years of using Windows, I made the switch to Mac in March 2005.
The biggest hurdle for me was looking for the OSX equivalent of the tools that I got so used to on a Windows machine. Just like Windows - there are also a ton of crap out there for OSX. Hopefully - this section will provide you with enough info to save you from wasting your time trying out stuff that does not work. I will only be adding stuff here that I actually try out and will be adding more tools over time ;-)
