I've started a small personal blog to share some pictures of figrues with the world. This is my first set but will not be my last. Just gonna post this one picture here, the rest can be found through my blog. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zerofigures/sets/72157606862230909/ Comment with opinions please.
Getting her to hold her gun was REALLY hard. I know a few people who had their guns break in the process. Mine developed a small crack in the back when I was trying to get her to hold it.
whoa, luckily no figures were harmed during this photo shoot. I myself had to struggle to get the hands open and did notice the gun begin to stress at a joint at one point. but I am happy to report my Yoko was not harmed. Sorry to hear about your rifle though.
yea, I heard lots of ppl break the gun too! Ppl should go check out the manufacture website first when they find something isn't right. There is a detail step-by-step guild to show you how to make Yoko hold the gun without breaking anything. =P
found it. =D http://www.enterbrain.co.jp/hobby/wafudo/yoko_rifle.html
Ow wow, that's cool but I didn't go there to buy it so personally I don't see why I should have to go there for that information. There was a small slip of papar with the figure but nothing like instructions. Though I did bend my fingers back a lil, I was afraid they'd snap off if I went too far. But thanks for providing that link, it is incredibly helpful, I'm gonna include it in my "review" of the figure on my blog.
I actually got her yesterday myself and pretty much immediately gave up on her holding the gun. Either the gun'd break, or her fingers... so I just hung the gun on her shoulder with the strap. Other than that, it's a really great figure. Face is slightly off-ish, but nothing I can't handle.
I think the thing to focus on with this figure is getting the hands open, I forget which hand , I believe it was the higher one, but I remember the thumb and index finger being stuck together, I was able to separate them with my thumb. Once fingers are separated, It will be a tight fit but widen the opening of the hands and sneak that rifle in there. Hope that helps to prevent damage to the sexy Yoko's around the world.
Almost got this figure, but ultimately decided it wasn't the Yoko I really wanted. Hearing about this gun problem kind of makes me glad I passed it up, but on the other hand I'm not sure if there's a better Yoko figure out yet.
