Do you like your cake?
Do you like your sushi?
Well how about a sushi cake? These yummy cakes are available from Ryu Gu Jo Sushi Studio and cost between 5,250 yen and 6,830 yen depending on the fish used.

And for those who are new to eating sushi, the tutorial below will tell you everything you need to know. Hmmm. Think I've decided to to have for lunch today. Oh, and wondering if you take your sushi with wasabi?

I used to order all my sushi without wasabi until I saw something on TV about how good wasabi is for the health - was on TV so must be true desu.

I dunno why but the video seems humorous. XD
But I started eating sushi since our cafeteria sells variety of it. But I don't open one wasabi packet to be partnered with sushi. I've eaten once so my backhead burns like barbecue, also my tongue.

I LOVVVVE Sushi.
What the heck is up with that movie, though!?
"Most Japanese eat at a sushi-ya at least once per day?"
No way!! Absolutely false.
And-- 20 cc of soy sauce (correctly callled "Murasaki" in a sushi-ya)???
That is too much!! It almost seems like it's poking fun at foreigners who almost always use way too much soy sauce-- so much that the delicate flavour of the fish is ruined.
Weird.

Funny, such formality and intricacy, who knew that the consumption of sushi was so methodical?

Regardless, the idea of a sushi cake seems less than appetizing, but I would probably give it a try if presented with an opportunity.

As for wasabi, I believe a little goes a long ways toward the overall enjoyment of the sushi.

Aside the tuna and maybe the squid I probably wouldn't eat that as it looks very unappetizing bunched together like that.

Sushi isn't complete without wasabi. I made the unfortunate mistake of not checking over my sushi piece once as the wasabi stuck to the side as I ate it. It cleared my sinuses though...

I don't eat the radish slices though.

There's this amazing all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant near my place. I go there atleast 2 or 3x a month. Great food, low price.

love sushi, love wasabi.... and english mustard for that matter.

Back in high school my friends once challenge me to a wasabi eating contest. Won with a simple trick, 'breath'
If the wasbi is too strong, just breath in while eating and it'll be ok. The trick doesn't work with English Mustard though. lol.

but yeah, love'em, but hate those sea urchin's eggs, still can't get used to that, especially when mixed with natto.

Do you eat your sushi with chopsticks or your hands Danny (and readers)? I sometimes see in anime and J-dramas people eating Nigiri sushi(I think that's the one where it's on top of the rice and not rolled with seaweed) with their hands.

I always want to try it like that but I'm afraid I'll get some weird looks.

Eating sushi with the hands--
It's the way kool guys in Japan eat Nigiri sushi and maki rolls. I only use chopsticks to eat sashimi.
It is not very lady-like, though. I have never seen my wife or her female friends do it.
