I work with other otaku/Japan related sites/blog owners to drive traffic to each other and mutually gain more readership from a niche category of readers. Being niche also means that advertising on dannychoo.com will yield a higher conversion rate. This site is gaining more exposure in the media and is regularly featured on TV, Magazines and news sites. This site was featured on CNN in October 2008. I do not charge per impression as I believe that is a terrible industry standard that only leaves advertisers with a dry pocket. For example, lets say a site has 5000 unique users per day. A Board could easily generate tens of thousands of page views from these users alone but ad space will be viewed by only 5000 users.

I charge on a monthly basis regardless of page impressions as its the *amount of users* who see your ad that counts. The more users we get to see your ads, the higher the conversion rate will be. Showing the same ad to the same group of people does not convert.

In order to maximize conversion for clients, inventory price is reviewed regularly to minimize the amount of ads that appear in one section.

I am not interested in just taking your money - I want to ensure that I work with you to drive traffic to your site and convert as many of those users as possible and will also give advice on your Landing Page Optimization strategy.

I will proactively feature advertisers within my article or news items when a relevant or interesting product or service is made available by you.
