Oh wow. A bit behind, indeed. ^^; And way to slip in a picture of Fauna (again). Duplicates aside, it's a very nice pose, and from what I've seen the two figures are pretty similar in quality though Alter's has a bit of an edge. I wonder who took the blame for the communication mishap though. Couldn't have been pretty.
I really liked Haruka's voice in the eroge and would definitely love to see her animated. This is probably one of the very few figures I ever wanted to buy if I'm not shoving my budget into Gundams ^^;
i do believe there is one in the works. i forget if it is ova or tv series though. moetron's winter anime list. this haruka figure looks so much better than the other ones she's had. this is definitely her best. imo.
:D WANT! Hopefully she shows up at Anime North.
She's definitely beautiful *3*
Indeed, she's such a beauty. If I ever was to be tracked down by a kunoichi it would be Haruka...or Sakura Haruno. I've become a major fan of Alter. Their level of detail, pose, and character selection is what I look for in figures. Aside Alter I like GoodSmile. Hmmm...looking at her again and again I think I might send in an order. She'd play nicely with Kos-Mos, Tsuzuri, and Churam.
She is definitely worth buying. Too bad I can't afford more figures this month :(
Although I haven't play the game yet... But she is one hell of a nice figure ^^
LOL the second last pic of Fauna was really random, kinda made me chuckle...
Nice Haruka, this reminds me that I haven't opened mine yet. ^^; about which company figure do I have most of, if GFFs were counted as figures, I'd say Bandai. otherwise probably Maxfactory because of all the figmas I have. ^^
lol on the tissue bikini on Fauna. ^^;
Send it over. I'll open it for you. Haruka is very nice indeed, but the way things are with economy she has to be extremely nice for me to get.
lol! your gf might not approve of you opening up Haruka. ^^
Haruka looks lovely indeed. And I always wondered why there were two of the same character, same pose released close together lol. Now I know hehe. I have more Kotobukiya figures than any other. And am proud of it! They make damn fine figures!!! Have alot of you had bad experiences with Koto or something? None of mine have displeased me in the slightest. I must have chosen well I spose.... I think its a tie between MF and GSC for second place. I think I prefer Clayz over those two anyways. And very nice Fauna pic btw. Still want her.....:sob:
She's a very good looking figure. If i had the money I'd think about her. I love Alter's figures, their quality is top notch. Unfortunately I don't have very many of them (only 2 at the moment). Currently I have more Max Factory figmas than anything else (mostly because they don't cost as much).
she's lovely~~~~~~ Max Factory & GSC........
Very nice, I like
I have the most from Max Factory :P It's probably just they happened to have the figures I was interested in most (like Ar Tonelico 2's Ruka) The Haruka I bought from Kotobukiya also looks very similar to this one, but I think it's a tad more detailed (such as the mesh on her upper chest). It also comes with a nice shuriken stand ^^
She looks a little sleepy for someone in a fight=.= Hi there Fauna:)
Love how Haruka looks. Cute character design and lovely costume. Its a great looking figure but theres one thing that prevents me from getting it besides the big price tag. This version doesn't have any support to hold up the figure other than the right leg. Worried as for how stable the figure really is... that and if there is a possibility it may break due to the entire load resting on that lonely leg. Kotobukiya has an additional support for the left leg but it looks bad... so I'm not sure if its worth trading off great appearance for better support... love the Alter version better. Think its the details... or colours... or finishing touches that make it all the better.
I love Alter's figures and Haryka in my wish list but the economy said to me NO T_T
Gots a lot of Figmas and maybe a couple of figures. but other than that I got gunplas mostly
i am extremely behind. haha
>Thanks once again to HobbyLink Japan for the lovely sample - get yours at HLJ. For a moment I thought that was the "register" link for freebies. ^^; MF and GSC, most of them.
Scary thing is it will eventually end of leaning so I try to avoid these product
Is your experience with leaning from a few (5-6 years back?) I don't have many figures that would have a leaning problem, but I hear more recent figures have improved quite a bit with regards to leaning problems.
any inside connections have any info on a subaru figure? ^_^ love haruka, have this one and the kotobukiya narika... really want subaru though!
I LOVE THIS FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm waiting for mine still sadly... It's such a wonderful figure...
I love this figure too!!!! I like the colors, the details, everything!!!
Alter ver. its way better than Kotobukiya ver. DO WANT
Spot the odd one out?
the majority of my collection is max factory, I'm a figma addict what more can I say... Haruka looks nice, I should add that series to my watch list I suppose. Nice Fauna cameo XD
Nice figure, would be really interesting to compare the Alter/Kotobukiya editions of the same figure, but I'm too fatigued :/ As far as quantity, Definitely Kotobukiya, then Max Factory (whose figures tend toward the less expensive side compared to the likes of Alter). Not counting shokugan or random cheap figures from non-figure companies.
you think it will be prone to leaning? coz juz looking at the figure, first thing comes to mind is LEAN! heheh. nice figure nonetheless. goodsmile outnumbers my maxfactory figures by 1. heheh! I accidentally clicked on max factory in the poll though >_<
That's one of the reasons to like the Koto version. It comes with a little stand for the leg to prevent leaning. ^_^
I only buy Alter, and some GSC. One or two of kotobukiyas. Sold all my MF collection (haruhi, shana, and stuff), not really liking it, since most of the poses are quite boring... The only one that I like is I-no , but haven't really got a chance to get that one..
Lovely dynamic figure, great Alter work as always. My collection is mostly Max Factory (made worse by the recent deluge of Figmas!), but GSC is catching up because it's just so hard resisting those cute little Nendoroid buggers.
Haruka looks lovely! I've already addedher to my want list of figures >.< Most figures I have are the Konami ones, the mecha musume range, strike witches range and busou shinki. Then its tied between Bome/Kaiyodo and GSC/Max factory and finally,one Bandai figure. Overall I like: GSC> Max factory> Konami> Alter> Kotubukiya> Other
I like Fauna. LOL
Hm. Very nice review. That figure looks goooood. Positive side effect of this also was that examining a 'weird spot' I saw on her pantsu led me to realize that my screen needs cleaning. Lol.
Just by looking at her makes me drooll.....^.^
Mega House out numbers in my collection since I'm trying to collect of girls in the Queen's Blade series...but I'm looking to get more from Max, GSC, and Alter. I really like their designs...
Anime figure top companies would be Good Smile, Volks, and the company that makes those large Aria figures in a tie. Don't own that many figures yet.
Very nice figure, it could be probably the first figure that I would like to buy ^^.
I guess it would be Max Factory if you count their figma products since they are coming out with tons of figma at one time. Other figure in my collection are from Kotobukiya, GSC and Alter.
This figures comes under the 'I'd love to get' group. However, I know next to nothing about her... Is that clip from the eroge or an upcoming anime? Extremely tight budget this two months...
lol @ fauna popping out out of no where nice figure
SURPRISE FAUNA! And her ditzy expression makes it pretty funny. Great figurine and pretty much a perfect finish by the looks of it, but by these pictures I can't really make out where the highlights are.
I have 4 good smile figures and 3 solid theater figures so they're what I own the most of. The rest are random Koto, Konami and some I don't remember. At only 13 figures, I consider my collection very small. I want a job so it can grow.
Most of my figure collection is from Kotobukiya. i'd say a good 50% i think but who's counting. Kotobukiya have such a huge selection in comparison to other company's that it's kind of hard not to notice. Although frequently looked down upon I think their sculpts are pretty solid and overall their quality is pretty good, improving with every release, like their tony taka shining wind lineup. man, those are really good. I still own several good smiles, max factory's and alter's but they always seem much more harder to obtain and are relatively more expensive probably due to their higher quality and standards. :P
I've got mostly Max Factory figures (mostly figma + a regular 1/8 PVC) and one GSC figure. Don't particularly have brand loyalty or anything, just find that MF/GSC tends to make the things I like the most. Alter does make some great figurines, but the higher price point discourages me. Factor in shipping costs and purchasing an elaborate figure can really turn into a fair investment.
i think good smile and kotobukiya are the best1
Her innocent looks can definitely kill. Lovely Fig on this review Danny. Just wish i could get one after Xmas XD
nice nice, i hope i can find her when i head to hk after xmas ^^
KAI~YO~DOO! (Revoltech Fandoy...)
Hmm... I guess Max Factory has you to thank for a lot of its sales, huh Danny? Hahahaha!
Alter's quality is top notch and a money burner XDDD I'll stab her with my weapon if you know what I mean :> My collection composes of mostly Max Factory and Good Smile. I don't have the money yet to buy some Alter figures ^^;;;;
